Face of the Day + outfit!

Hey everyone! I've seen multiple YouTube  videos on face of the days and outfits of the day. But until recently I had never actually  seen a blogged one. But when I did, i was inspired  and decided  to  do my own! So here it goes...

Iwould like to begin by telling you that most of these products are project pan ones! I've  been  into overhauling  and using older makeup lately in attempts to use it up instead of tossing it.

Naturally,I will begin with the face products. Here's a picture of what I used.

I actually  really like the VS Setting Spray. Its not in my projectpan yet, just one of my favorites. I'm completely in love with Some Kind of Gorgeous from Benefit. Its a cream foundation. The coverage is light and a bit oily, but I  really love it. I will be purchasing a full size in the near future. I happen  to  own two full sizes of Erase Paste by Benefit that I also adore.probably  one of my favorite concealers. I sealed the undereye concealer with ELF undereye setting powder. Next I put on highlight  using the highlight crayon from Physician's Formula. Its alright, just old. Then I sealed it with the LA Colors Pressed Powder which is great  for a buck. My cream brush, highlight and blush are all from some random set but they do work quite well. Next, up is a picture of what I used on my eyes ...

First, I used my Neaclear Eye Anti-Aging Cream.. Neaclear is one of my favorite face product brands. Its super expensive but I would pay the price if I could afford it. I also used UD Eye Primer Potion.. this was samples that I actually just stuck all together ina container. I would never buy the full size. I don't think its worth all the hype. For my eyeshadows, I used a light gray and a dark blue by The Color Workshop. These are actually part of my palette from the Pan That Palette challenge  I'm participating in.
I used a random purple gel eyeliner I hAd that I think is also from The Color Workshop. And for mascara I used Fantasy Makers Up at Dusk purple colored mascara. And for my brows I justfilled them in with Define-A-Brow by Maybelline.

Next on to lips. I actually kept it simple by using a lipstick that I depotted an put in a more convenient chapstick tube that i finished.

It actually has multiple colors in it. I love it!

On the lips....

Before  I  get to the next part showing my outfit, my littleman wanted to show his face and outfit of the day. He's such a cutie!

Here's my outfit of the day....
Both the shirt and the pants are from Kohls!

Lastly, I must show off my adorable sunglasses... i LOVE them! Too bad they aren't  pink!

Well my dears, its been a long, crazy weekend and I  have so much to plan for the week ahead so I'm off to start planning! Until next time....

KISSES!!

Gel Pen Eye Base.... hmm

Recently while unpacking, I found my collection of gel pens that I had collected massive amounts of over the past several years. I was slightly disappointed  in myself because  I  had so many that I had never used and I knew that most of them would probably never work due to the ink drying in the tip. Being Green, as I am, I wanted to use them not waste them, and for some reason I thought  of when I use to use gel pens to draw cute designs on my hands while bored in school. Thats when the idea hit me! Why not try using them for make up. So I chose two colors... a glittery brown and a matte light purple....

I've been using these as both eye bases and eyeliners, and quote honestly, I have been LOVING the results! Here is the purple...

Here is the brown....

I haven't  had any allergy problems yet and I can't  wait  to  try out more beautiful  colors. These have really made my pan that palette shadows so much more fun!

If you have some gel pens that you don't mind trying out as a base or liner, you should just give it a whirl... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Bargin of the Day: L'oreal Touch-On Colour

Today my best got me these lovelies at the Dollar Tree store, so Ithought I would share with you all!
We've been finding a great deal of name brand beauty bargins at the Dollar Tree lately... its kind of exciting! As you can tell from the photo, these are the L'Oreal Touch-On Colour for lips, eyes and cheeks. I was able to get my hands on four shades. My friend was able to find 6 shade. These are of creamy texture but have a pwdery finish to them. Here are the colors and swatches I pucked up. They are single layered and the top swatch has no primer while the bottom  does. I used Urban Decay Primer potion. Anyway, without futher ado...

Downtown Purple  - indeed it appears purple but comes out morre of a pink on your skin. Looks better without primer...though I think they all do.

Fanatic Fuscia  -  Really like this one. The color is just so pink and so me! Again, I like it more without the primer.

Sunset Blush - Kinda a darker gold peach color. Maybe even copper toned.

Go Go Gold - Gold yes! But also sheer so you could use it as a toplayer for something... hmmm ideas!

In case you can't  tell, I'm quite excited  to  play around with these and see what they are capable of.. checkout your local dollar tree and let me know if you find them and what you think of them and what you use them for! Also, if you have  a  moment, check out my Ulta Haul video on YouTube at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_aUc7tZkIgA

 Enjoy!

Bargin Shopping on a Sunday...

Yesterdy I spent a few hours doing some beauty bargin shopping with my mom. We went to both Sally's Beauty Supply and Walgreens  and lucky for me, I found killer deals at both. Here is what i picked up at Sally's:

And here is what I picked up at Walgreens:

I spent just a little under $40 for ALL this! Insert happy dance here. :)

Now to take a closer look... I will try and do some more detailed reviews on the items in the coming days... At Sally's I picked up these lovely Femme Couture lipsticks for just $.99! They are gorgeous  colors!

I also picked up a Lightening Lash Lengthening Purple mascara from them for only $1.99!

Next from Real Colors, I pick up the Porecelain Skin Primer for only $2.99. I'm really starting to enjoy face products  more. I never worried too much about them in the past but now I've grown up so they're  a bit more important to me.

Lastly from Sally's, I picked up these in Couture Diva liquid eyeshadows in yellow, green, blue and silver... for only $.39 a piece! Such a steal!

Next from Walgreens, I raided their Dollar Beauty section for these. I've  been  doing this at pretty much any Walgreens I go to now because these lippies are DEFINITELY  a bang for your buck due to their beautiful pigmentation. They are the Luxy Lips and Feline Lip Liquid from Profusion, only $1. I will definitely  be  doing a review on these for you in the near future....

I, seriously in love with those.
Next, I got this hair stuff from the clearance section:

Its the Work It Girl! Shine,Protect and Control Spray by Mark Hill. I'm very excited to try this out! Only $3!!!! I hope it works!
And lastly, Wet'n'Wild was on sale for buy on get one half off and had a lip pencil I needed to complete my collection so i got a lip pencil and the new Primer. Excited!
